Years ago when I retired the first time, I took a course in floral design so if I needed additional income I could get a job working part time in a flower shop. As years went on and I kept doing some custom design work and some work for family, friends, etc. it became apparent that I could never work for a flower shop because they do weddings, church work, etc. and I could NEVER do the same design twice. No matter how hard I tried. It became a joke around the family that Mom, was a One of Kind person in more ways than one. Therefore, JBs One Of A Kind Design came to be. I do fine as long as no one want two identical designs. Then I refer them to my favorite flower shop. I limit my designs to cemetery and door pieces for all seasons because I do not carry an extensive amount of inventory since this is just a part time venture.
